Points and earnings

How points and earnings work

Each question starts from a fixed 10-point base.
Correct answers are weighted by your confidence selection.
Earlier correct predictions gain a capped time bonus.
Wrong answers apply a light confidence penalty to reduce reckless all-in picks.
Your total contest score is the sum of all question scores after bonuses and penalties.

Example payout (for a large contest tier)

If the prize pool is $3,000, payouts are split by rank:

1st place: 35% = $1,050
2nd place: 20% = $600
3rd place: 10% = $300
4th to 10th: 25% total = $750 split evenly ($107.14 each)
11th to 20th: 10% total = $300 split evenly ($30 each)

Smaller contests may use smaller winner brackets, but higher score always means better rank and larger reward potential.
